I'm Christopher Ross. I've been building on the web since 1996 and working in WordPress since 2007, and Lakeview Brands is just the plain-language index of what that's turned into over the years.

My main work is WordPress consulting under my own name at thisismyurl.com: builds, migrations, cleanup, and training, mostly for media organizations, educational institutions, and government bodies who need a site that holds up. I'm a WordPress.org plugin developer, a WordCamp speaker at 18 or more events, and the WordCamp Niagara organiser. I'm also partway through a master's in Learning and Technology at Royal Roads University, which is a large part of why teaching shows up everywhere in what I do, not just on the client-facing side.

Everything listed on the Lakeview Brands homepage is something I own outright or built and operate alongside that main work. Some of it is client-facing and some of it is a personal project with no business model attached, and I've tried to keep the homepage honest about which is which rather than dressing up a hobby as a company.
