Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026.

This is a short one, because there isn't much to collect. lakeviewbrands.com is a static page with no login, no forms, and nothing behind the scenes tracking what you do here.

1. Who runs this site

lakeviewbrands.com is run by me, Christopher Ross, based in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada. Contact: hello@lakeviewbrands.com.

2. What this site collects

Nothing, directly. There's no tracking pixel, no cookie, and no form on this page. The page does use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which my hosting provider adds to count visits (page views, referrers, countries and page load times, without cookies or profiles of individual visitors). If you email me from the address in the footer, I have whatever you choose to put in that email, the same as any other email I receive.

3. Hosting logs

The hosting provider serving this page may keep standard server logs (things like IP address and request time) as a normal part of running any website. I don't access or use those logs for anything beyond keeping the site running.

4. Third-party links

Every property listed on the homepage is a separate site with its own privacy practices. Once you click through, this policy no longer applies; check the destination site's own policy.

5. Search Console

I use Google Search Console to see how this site shows up in Google search, such as which searches bring people here and which pages appear. It reports on search results, not on what you do on the site, and it doesn't place anything in your browser.

6. Newsletter signup

The newsletter form at /newsletter/ is the one place this site collects anything, and it is the exception to any line on this page that says the site collects nothing. If you use it, I store your email address, which site you signed up on, the time, the wording of the consent you saw, your country, your IP address and your browser type. That record lives in a database at Cloudflare. I keep it because Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) means I have to be able to show that you asked to hear from me. To check that you're a person, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a short check in your browser. I use your address only to send this site's newsletter, and I don't sell it or share it. Every message will have an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me at hello@lakeviewbrands.com to delete your address and the record at any time.

7. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date above will always reflect the latest version.
